Youcare maintains the philosophy of "technological innovation, system innovation, management innovation". To secure technological leadership in the field of antibiotics and pellets controlled release formulations, and development of better, more effective, and safer medicines, more than 5% of annual sales amount is invested in R&D area. In 2010, Youcare Beijing Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Enterprise Technology Center was founded which was identified as municipal R&D institution and municipal enterprise technological center by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy of Information Technology. Moreover Youcare established Youcare antibiotics Engineering Research Center.
